It's at least ¼" thick and built to outlast all competitors. It's tougher than steel and more durable than aluminum. We routinely test our products using state-of-the-art computer simulation as well as actual, physical drop tests. We fill our tanks completely and drop them 30 feet onto a steel plate---never losing a drop of liquid. Our legendary products are so tough and well-proven that we back them with a Lifetime Warranty*!This product comes with stainless steel interior flanges, galvanized steel mounting straps, plated high-strength steel front support, mounting bushings (7030213 only), rollover safety vent valves and all the needed accessories. The 7030213S product includes a custom molded shield which is recommended if truck is to be subjected to rigorous off-highway use. Installation is clean and easy—no drilling or cutting required.
